Reactive oxygen species (ROS), at physiological concentrations, play a key role in regulating follicular growth, angiogenesis, and the biosynthesis of sex steroids ovarian tissue. An imbalance between ROS body’s antioxidant system leads to oxidative stress (OS), which results degradation both quantitative qualitative characteristics oocytes. This review analyzes relationship OS premature insufficiency (POI), highlights potential pathogenic mechanisms, explores treatment approaches for POI through modulation levels via therapy. It has been established that plays significant genetic material damage, disrupts signaling pathways, transcription factor expression, alters oocyte microenvironment, ultimately leading apoptosis granulosa cells (GCs), disruption meiotic division, reduction mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) content, other pathophysiological changes accelerate aging. Antioxidants, mesenchymal stem (MSCs), biological enzymes, agents have slow down progression by reducing representing promising direction improving quality life reproductive outcomes patients with POI.

There are no studies directly comparing medical vs surgical treatments in improving endometriosis-related pain despite the condition's widespread prevalence. The COVID-19 pandemic restrictions resulted many endometriosis patients unable to receive treatment, providing an opportunity compare non-surgical management against conventional practice of surgery. We also explored impact on quality care and life for patients. An online questionnaire was conducted between June August 2023. Patients from a single centre were asked participate if they had received surgery 2018-2019 or 2020-2022. measured impacted care, over pre-, during, post-pandemic periods with (EIQ), treatment effectiveness numerical rating scale (NRS). Of 60 total respondents, 56.7% cancelled, postponed, rescheduled clinic appointment, while 33.3% 8.3% fertility treatment. statistically significant differences EIQ scores during after as compared before all domains. Both decreased NRS significantly by 3, p < 0.001. difference two treatments, = 0.901. remained stable disruptions pandemic. effective pain, although how one compares other is still unclear due systematic study cohorts.

Introduction. Endometriosis is an estrogen–dependent disease characterized by the spread of endometrial-like tissue outside uterine cavity. Symptoms appear after menarche, in adolescence. The symptoms endometriosis often go unnoticed and underestimated early age, which leads to a delay beginning therapy progression disease. difficulty diagnosing adolescents determined not only specificity clinical picture, but also lack generally accepted markers for detecting disease, as well identifying initial forms using imaging techniques such ultrasound, MRI. purpose this review identify age-related features endometriosis, especially children adolescents, provide diagnosis timely initiation treatmen. Endometrial foci look different from adults. As rule, merging vesicular or papular, transparent, red white lesions are more characteristic than black blue ones age group. While adult women, with pronounced fibrosis. Histological examination laparoscopic surgery remains gold standard confirming diagnosis, although results these studies may always correspond each other. Microscopic reveals areas fibrous, fatty, muscular tissue, hemorrhages, vessels, calcification infiltration multinucleated leukocytes, combination endosalpingiosis endometriod-like tissues. Moreover, it important carry out differential chronic pelvic pain, abnormalities development, pathologies gastrointestinal tract, adenomyosis. Conclusion. Thus, estrogen-dependent affecting 10% women reproductive age. However, adolescence, future women. Timely plays role preventing development complications eliminating infertility future.
