ABSTRACT Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) could significantly alter the recipient's gut bacteria composition and attenuate obesity obesity‐related metabolic syndromes. Western diets are a public health concern as excess intake of simple sugars and fatty foods, consequently low consumption fruits vegetables, can contribute to obesity other chronic diseases such diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases, cancer. Due the high prevalence related diets, objective this study was evaluate whether inclusion novel fiber-rich complex could prevent fat diet-induced weight gain, adiposity, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, oxidative stress in young male Sprague-Dawley rats, Rattus norvegicus. The fiber contained blend bioactive ingredients: 27% flaxseed, 15.9% wheat bran, 14.8% germ, 10% psyllium, 13.1% brewer's yeast, 19.2% grapeseed flour. included 24 6-week-old rats divided into three groups that were fed either control diet (C; standard rodent maintenance diet) containing (3.8%g diet); high-fat (H) Solka Floc cellulose (6.46%g or which 5% replaced with (HF) (total fiber: 5%g + 6.14%g Floc). Rats all gained significant during 6-week feeding period (p < 0.001) consistent normal growth. Indonesia has the highest prevalence of obesity in Asia-Pacific region. Insulin resistance is a form that causes damage to liver, heart, and pancreatic tissue as we age. This study aimed determine correlation among lipid profiles, glucose levels, body composition, insulin resistance. Methods: used pre-experimental design was conducted at Gorontalo Ministry Health Polytechnic February 2023 on 31 obese people whose venous blood collected for examination variables. Data were by purposive sampling with data analysis using Pearson Correlation Spearman Rank statistical tests 95% confidence interval (CI). Results: status based sex, TyG index, dominated women (55%) 20 who experienced Men are more likely be aged <30 years than women, according HOMA-IR index.
