Low-temperature thermal degradation of PCDD/Fs in incineration fly ash (IFA) has attracted widespread attention with the advantages low energy consumption and high efficiency. However, process industrialization, inevitable O2 leakage system always been a technical bottleneck. Based on characteristics IFA mechanism PCDD/F regeneration, this study first proposes dual-strategy LTTD predechlorination reduction atmosphere-keeping. Predechlorination removes soluble chlorine metals while hydrolyzing CaClOH into Ca(OH)2 to accelerate detoxication PCDD/Fs, deep atmosphere-keeping is created by introducing activated carbon inhibit possible regeneration. Compared typical LTTD, synergistic application can obtain 99.4 97.4% detoxification efficiencies presence 1 2% O2, respectively. identification congener distribution density functional theory calculations, dechlorination acid chloride group-containing intermediates participation CO was proposed.
