Methylene blue (MB) adsorption was performed on a natural material powder of Cynara scolymus as new inexpensive adsorbent identified by Cs. To analyze the Cs material, FTIR, SEM, isoelectric point (pHpzc) analysis, TGA, and DRX were used. The maximum experimental capacity 203.333, 192.187, 179.380 mg•g−1 at 298, 303, 313 K, respectively. correlation coefficients (R2) average percentage errors APE (%) values for kinetic isotherms models indicated that kinetics followed pseudo-nth order model traditional isotherm Redlich–Peterson (R–P) correctly described data obtained steric, energetic, thermodynamic characteristics most relevant advanced (double-energy single-layer (AM 2)) analyzed in detail. number active sites first receptors (n1) determined to be 0.129, 0.610, 6.833, whereas second (n2) 1.444, 1.675, 2.036 This presence both multi–docking multimolecular modes style MB ions (n1), while only mode (n2). The present research work reports the preparation of Hyphaene thebaica derived-biochar (HTBC) and its applicability as eco-friendly low-cost adsorbent for removal methyl orange (MO) dye. main physicochemical characteristics HTBC including morphology, crystallinity chemical function groups were determined through scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). results showed that was found to be constituted by heterogeneous surface with mesoporous having a area 33.38 m2/g pore diameter 23.53 nm, carboxylic amine functional groups. Adsorption experiments conducted using batch mode, varying key adsorption parameters such contact time, solution pH, dosage concentration. isotherm modelling revealed Langmuir model (higher R2 lower χ2) provided better fit MO onto HTBC, while kinetics followed pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Under optimized conditions (pH 2, dose 0.03 g, initial dye concentration 100 mg/L, 313 K, 270 rpm), maximum monolayer capacity 264.922 mg/g. According thermodynamic parameters, it can deduced on exothermic spontaneous. mechanism attributed various interactions, electrostatic attraction, H-bonding, π-π interaction. In light these findings, biochar from shells considered cost-effective biodegradable significant potential treatment water contaminated anionic dyes.
