The present study evaluated the anticancer potential of copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) synthesized from pumpkin seed extract in human breast cancer cell line (MDA‐MB‐231) using a battery tests such as MTT [3‐(4,5‐dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl)‐2,5‐diphenyltetrazolium bromide] assay, morphological alteration, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and changes mitochondrial membrane (MMP). biogenic CuO NPs showed dose‐dependent decline viability with 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) at 20 μ g/ml. Treatment an IC50 dose resulted considerable morphology changes, shrinkage, detachment, blebbing, deformed shape MDA‐MB‐231 cells. We also observed significant increase ROS production MMP modulation due to NP treatment. Overall, line. However, further validation our data is required ex vivo models before this nanoformulation could be exploited for treatment/management cancer.

Environmental problems with chemical and biological water pollution have become a major concern for society. Providing people safe affordable is grand challenge of the 21st century. The study investigates photocatalytic degradation capabilities hydrothermally prepared pure Cu-doped ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) elimination dye pollutants. A simple, cost-effective hydrothermal process employed to synthesize NPs. activity synthesized NPs tested by using methylene blue (MB) dye. In addition, parameters that affect photodegradation efficiency, such as catalyst concentration, starting potential hydrogen (pH), were also assessed. found be directly proportional irradiation time, 94% MB degraded in 2 hrs. Similarly, shows an inverse relation reduced from 20% when concentration increases 5 ppm 80 ppm. environmentally friendly exhibit improved against can therefore wastewater treatment materials.
