Nanotechnology is a rapidly evolving discipline as it has wide variety of applications in several fields. They have been synthesized ways. Traditional processes such chemical and physical synthesis limits, whether the form contamination during operations or subsequent usage more energy. Over last decade, research focused on establishing easy, nontoxic, clean, cost-effective, environmentally friendly techniques for nanoparticle production. To achieve this goal, biological was created to close gap. Biosynthesis nanoparticles one-step process, ecofriendly nature. The metabolic activities agents convert dissolved metal ions into nanometals. For biosynthesis nanoparticles, various like plants, fungus, bacteria are utilized. In review paper, aim provide summary contemporary gold their domains discussed.

Nanoparticles and nanomaterials have gained a huge amount of attention in the last decade due to their unique remarkable properties. Metallic nanoparticles like zinc oxide (ZnONPs) been used very widely as plant nutrients wastewater treatment. Here, ZnONPs were synthesized by using onion peel characterized various sophisticated instruments Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), dynamic light scattering (DLS), field emission scanning electron microscopes (FESEM). FTIR confirmed synthesis formation band region 400-800 cm-1, while FESEM spherical shape particles whose size varies range 20-80 nm. revealed several bands from 1000-1800 cm-1 which indicates capping organic molecules on ZnONPs, came peel. It also has carbonyl hydroxyl groups, present Allium cepa waste. The average hydrodynamic was 500 nm DLS. then nutrient where effect evaluated growth Vigna radiate (mung bean) Triticum aestivum (wheat seeds). results that germination seedling mung wheat seeds with grown better than control seed. However, at median concentration exposure showed an enhancement percent germination, root, shoot length comparison control. Thus, proved nano-based source for agricultural purposes.

Nanoparticles synthesis through biological mediated methods with a particular focus on the processes by fungi and algae is discussed, which systematically reviews nanoparticle characterization, composition, methods, and, lastly but not least, applications of NPs across five different categories to provide reference for future research. Most traditional generate nanoparticles have certain limitations, like toxicity precursor materials, need high‐temperature management, high cost synthesis, ultimately hinders their utility in sectors. Greener fungus done bioreduction biomolecules or enzymes present them low‐energy, low‐cost, needs low‐temperature environment, providing unique technique manufacture various metallic utilized an array industries healthcare.
