Abstract As an implementation tool of data intensive scientific research methods, machine learning (ML) can effectively shorten the and development (R&D) cycle new materials by half or even more. Adiabatic demagnetization refrigeration (ADR) offers a compelling alternative to traditional ultra-low temperature technologies by eliminating the reliance on scarce 3He and gravitational constraints. The key of ADR development is find magnetic refrigerants with exceptional magnetocaloric properties. In this study, polycrystalline CsEuCl3 CsEuBr3 halide perovskites were synthesized simple solid-phase reaction method. crystallizes in tetragonal structure, while forms an orthorhombic both exhibiting distorted perovskite structures. undergoes antiferromagnetic ordering at TN ∼ 1.1 K, whereas shows no above 0.4 K. Curie–Weiss fitting analysis reveals interactions compounds, displaying stronger coupling. maximum entropy change (−ΔSM) values under field changes 0–2 T 0–5 are 22.4 38.6 J kg−1 K−1 1.4 K for CsEuCl3, 15.7 26.4 CsEuBr3, respectively. These findings underscore potential as promising candidates cryogenic applications.

Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) have recently attracted significant interest, owing to their excellent optoelectronic properties and diverse applications, including photovoltaics, solid-state lighting emitting diodes (LEDs), other applications. However, the toxic nature of lead-based MHPs, lanthanide-based MHPs emerged as an alternative, leading new opportunities for emerging such in near-infrared (NIR) imaging, NIR cameras, white LEDs, information encryption.
