It is generally accepted that certain viral infections can trigger the development of autoimmune diseases. However, exact mechanisms by which these viruses induce autoimmunity are still not understood. In this review, we first describe hypothetical some representative Then, focus on Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) and discuss its role in pathogenesis rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The discussion mainly based our own previous findings (A) EBV DNA products EBV-encoded small RNA (EBER) latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) present synovial lesions RA, (B) mRNA expression signaling lymphocytic activation molecule-associated (SAP)/SH2D1A gene plays a critical cellular immune responses to reduced peripheral T cells patients with (C) infection mice reconstituted human system components (humanized mice) induced erosive pathologically similar RA. Additionally, environmental factors may contribute reactivation as follows: Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase (PAD), an enzyme required for citrullination, engenders antigens leading production citrullinated peptides both gingiva synovium. Anti-citrullinated autoantibody important marker diagnosis disease activity These findings, well various results obtained other researchers, strongly suggest directly involved typical disease.

Since the discovery of microRNAs (miRNAs) in C. elegans 1993, field miRNA research has grown steeply. These single-stranded non-coding RNA molecules canonically work at post-transcriptional phase to regulate protein expression. miRNAs are known viral infection and ensuing host immune response. Evolving suggests assets investigation therapeutics diagnostics. In this review, we succinctly summarize latest findings (i) mechanisms underpinning regulation infection, (ii) response pathogens, (iii) miRNA-based diagnostics targeting pathogens challenges, (iv) patents market landscape. Our show differential expression may serve as a prognostic biomarker for infections regard predicting severity or adverse health effects associated with diseases. While there is huge potential technology, novel approach using mimics enhance antiviral activity antagonists inhibit pro-viral been an ongoing endeavor. Significant hurdles remain terms delivery, stability, efficacy, safety/tolerability, specificity. Addressing these challenges pave path harnessing full modern medicine.

Exosome-derived microRNAs (miRNAs) are biomacromolecules and nanoscale extracellular vesicles originating from intracellular compartments that secreted by most cells into the space. This review examines formation function of exosomal miRNAs in biological information transfer, explores pathogenesis vitiligo, highlights relationship between vitiligo. The aim is to deepen understanding how influence immune imbalance, oxidative stress damage, melanocyte-keratinocyte interactions, melanogenesis disorders development enhanced may contribute potential diagnostic therapeutic options for

Abstract Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a persistent inflammatory illness of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) triggered by an inappropriate immune response to environmental stimuli in genetically predisposed persons. Unfortunately, IBD patients' quality life negatively impacted symptoms associated with disease. The exact etiology pathogenesis not fully understood, but emerging research indicated that microRNA (miRNA) plays important role. miRNAs have been documented possess significant role regulating pro- and anti-inflammatory pathways, addition their roles several physiological processes, including cell growth, proliferation, apoptosis. Variations miRNA profiles might be helpful prognostic indicator valuable tool differential diagnosis IBD. Most interestingly, these promising therapeutic target pre-clinical animal studies phase 2 clinical alleviate inflammation improve patient's life. This comprehensive review discusses current knowledge about different health intestinal system addresses most relevant differentially expressed IBD, identify potential targets, emphasize diagnostic for future research.

Glioblastoma (GB) is a highly aggressive cancer of the central nervous system, occurring in brain or spinal cord. Many factors such as angiogenesis are associated with GB development. Angiogenesis procedure by which pre-existing blood vessels create new that play an essential role health and disease, including tumors. Also, one significant thought to be responsible for treatment resistance many tumors, GB. Hence, improved understanding molecular processes underlying will pave way developing potential treatments. Recently, it has been found microRNAs (miRNAs) exosomal miRNAs have crucial inducing inhibiting process A better knowledge miRNA's regulation pathway offers unique mechanistic insight into mechanism tumor-associated neovascularization. Because advancements miRNA characterization delivery methods, can also employed clinical settings biomarkers anti-angiogenic response well therapies targeting tumor angiogenesis. The recent finding insights about miRNAs' angioregulatory provided throughout review. we discuss concept miRNAs-based future.
