Sarcopenia is the age-related loss of muscle mass and function. India has 8.6% global elderly (>60 years) population, this expected to increase 20% by 2050. Around 70% Indians live in rural areas where lifestyle factors like diet physical activity differ from urban areas. Understanding age, sex location-specific sarcopenia prevalence crucial. Thus, our aim was assess determinants community-dwelling men women aged 40 years older, representing next generation older Indian adults. This cross-sectional study included 745 adults (400 women) near Pune, Western India. Objectives: Due to variations in the standards for optimal protein intake and conflicting results across studies Korean older adults, this study aimed quantitatively integrate existing research on association of with sarcopenia related indicators Koreans aged 65 through meta-analysis.
