Donkey milk, rich in essential nutrients, not only can meet the nutritional needs of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) accodding to National Kidney Foundation's Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (KDOQI) Clinical Practice Guideline for Nutrition CKD, but also has strong anti-inflammatory ability. Inflammation is main driving force renal fibrosis, directly determining function CKD. However, impact donkey milk on CKD and underlying mechanism remains unclear. We hypothesized that supplementation could enhance ability thereby inhibiting fibrosis improving function. So, we investigated influences a 6-week treatment unilateral ureteral ligation (UUO) induced rats. The results demonstrated level miR-223-3p was decreased kidneys rats compared normal activated miR-223-3p, expression inhibitor kappa B kinase (IKKα) nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB) protein. Consequently, inflammatory factors such as monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) interleukin-6 (IL-6) were suppressed, leading reduced aggregations macrophages transforming growth β1 (TGF-β1) expression. Ultimately, inhibited, which confirmed by Collagen type I α 1(Col1-a1) mRNA, improved. These indicate may be another potential therapeutic target Moreover, contribution alleviating response obvious, indicating new functional food promote health.

The Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2)/heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) signaling pathway has been extensively studied for its role in regulating antioxidant and antiviral responses. Equid herpesvirus type 8 (EqHV-8) poses a significant threat to the equine industry, primarily manifesting as respiratory disease, abortions, neurological disorders horses donkeys. Oxidative stress is considered key associated with pathogenesis of EqHV-8 infection. Unfortunately, there currently dearth therapeutic interventions available effective control EqHV-8. Rutin well documented potential. In current study we focused on evaluation potential agent against

Itaconic acid (IA) is recognized for its potential application in treating intestinal diseases owing to the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Perfluorooctanoic (PFOA) can accumulate animals result oxidative inflammatory damages multi-tissue organ, particularly tract. This study aimed explore whether IA could mitigate damage induced by PFOA exposure laying hens elucidate underlying mechanisms. The results showed that improved capacity of alleviated PFOA, as evidenced elevated activities T-SOD, GSH-Px, CAT, decreased MDA content both jejunum serum. Furthermore, morphological structural integrity, notably attenuating PFOA-induced villus shedding, length reduction, microvillus thinning. also upregulated mRNA expression
