In recent years, with the increasing construction mileage of oil and gas pipelines (OGPs), aging problem OGPs has become increasingly prominent, so, ensuring safety is great significance. addition, OGP transportation also an important component pipeline integrity. Therefore, to ensure transportation, regular inspections should be carried out. During this process, defects in measured wall thickness information recorded provide a basis for subsequent repair or replacement. This study analyzes literature on testing reviews approximately eighty articles. Based these articles, we summarize types common review basic principles various non-destructive methods pipelines, including electromagnetic acoustic transducer inspection, magnetic flux leakage testing, ultrasonic eddy current testing. We detailed introduction applications innovative based above inspection methods. Finally, analysis outlook future research focus technology are presented. suggests that different detection used defects, such as using method internal natural pipelines.
