Previous studies have indicated that cancer patients may a lower level of subjective well-being (SWB); nevertheless, the underlying factors for this phenomenon remain insufficiently investigated. Based on characteristics Chinese breast and unique culture, study explored independent contributions death anxiety, self-esteem, social support to SWB from protective risk perspectives. A cross-sectional survey recruited 514 females with collected participants’ demographic above variables. In this meta-analysis, we synthesized the available longitudinal evidence on prospective effects between self-esteem and eating pathology (i.e., restrained eating, bulimic behavior, binge concern, negative body image, drive for thinness). The analyses were based 48 independent samples, including 19,187 participants. Mean age was 19.3 years (range = 7–48). Objectives: The Internet has become one of the most common sources people use to search for health-related information, a behavior rapidly increased during novel Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). present study aimed investigate behavioral patterns in online searches and Cyberchondria (CYB) COVID-19 pandemic time, order explore socio-demographic psychopathological factors related CYB. Abstract Background Mounting evidence suggests that the effectiveness of positive psychology interventions is influenced by a variety factors, including cultural context. Identifying intervention targets can effectively contribute to improving individual well-being under these boundary conditions crucial step when developing viable interventions. To this end, we examined how gratitude disposition, self-esteem, and optimism relate subjective (SWB) psychological (PWB) Japanese individuals. Methods Multivariate regression analysis was employed quantify unique relationships between three potential both SWB PWB, while accounting for influence other variables. Participants ( N = 71) also engaged in 4-week experience sampling study explore gratitude, self-esteem shape link momentary affective states everyday life evaluations day satisfaction. Results revealed predominantly more strongly associated with compared whereas disposition PWB dimensions, particularly personal growth, relations others purpose life. Abstract Background Self-esteem is a psychological outcome that positively related to mental and health, one of the most important elements in nursing. Developing strategies for self-esteem promotion therefore great importance nursing practice. Previous reviews suggested exercise interventions such as Tai Chi practice may confer both physical benefits humans, but on effect adults are lacking. Thus, this systematic review meta-analysis was conducted evaluate effectiveness promoting among adults. Methods We included randomized controlled trials investigated adults, where and/or self-confidence were reported outcomes. The literature search ten electronic databases. Two independent reviewers performed abstract full-text screening using Covidence. These also independently extracted data from studies, critical appraisal their methodological quality, revised Cochrane risk-of-bias tool (RoB2). Results Eleven studies review, which all rated having high risk bias or some concerns quality. Our demonstrated intervention can significantly improve post-intervention score higher participants compared controls (standardized mean difference: 0.46; 95% CI: 0.18–0.74; p = 0.001).
