Abstract The creation of functional hydrogels with robust load‐bearing capacity adaptable to complex tissue regeneration remains challenging. Silk fibroin (SF) is a natural biomaterial excellent mechanical strength and cell adhesion capacity, possessing tremendous potential solve the aforementioned dilemma. biodegradability biocompatibility molecular structure multiple modifiable moieties provide opportunities for injectability multifunctionality hydrogels. Furthermore, incorporation other polymers or active ingredients can improve basic properties, confer biological activities pharmacological effects, prerequisites fulfill specific requirements. Therefore, SF‐based are widely applied in repair regeneration, especially bone, skin, nerve, liver, myocardium, cornea, which have effectively addressed challenges scaffolds' lack sites, excessive degradation, as well efficient, long‐lasting antimicrobial properties. This review outlines properties SF, discusses types materials commonly used preparation their characteristics, describes current construction methods SF Simultaneously, recent advancements applying multifunctional within tissues explored, focus on role repair, highlighting mechanism based bone skin.

Objective: Disruptions in the wound healing process occur because of two main factors diabetes: high blood sugar levels and chronic inflammation. This study evaluated effectiveness hydrogel patches containing neem leaf extract diabetic wounds. Methods: The experimental method used a post-test control group design that included preparation, phytochemical screening, patch stability testing, testing hyperglycemic rats by observing size, histopathology, TNF-α TGF-β cytokine on days 7, 14, 21. Results: contains secondary metabolites support anti-inflammatory wound-healing activities. Stability tests showed met standards for organoleptic properties, weight uniformity, moisture absorption. given NLEHP (Neem Leaf Extract Hydrogel Patch) decrease area (0.5±0.1 cm2) not significantly different from non-diabetic with reduction (p>0.05) negative (1.1±0 (p<0.05). Histopathological analysis skin thickness (19.2±1.6 μm) was (18.2±0.8 higher than (10.7±2.4 significant increase (p<0.05) group, whereas groups non-significant (p>0.05). progressively increased groups, unlike decline observed control. Conclusion: These results indicate is an effective alternative therapy.

Background: Dermatological disorders (DDs) are a significant public health concern worldwide as they considerably affecting the quality of human and problematic to cure due persistence. This study aimed census traditional medicinal plants (TMPs) used treat DDs in Tabora region, Tanzania. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted collect information from healers (THs). The emphasis was on local plant names, cured DDs, parts used, preparation, administration remedies. Quantitative approaches, including family importance value (FIV), species use (SUV), part (PPV), Jaccard index similarity (JI), informant consensus factor (ICF), calculated too. Results: Sixty-four TMPs 32 families recorded for treating 14 DDs. dominant life form Fabaceae (with 20.3% all FIV 3.455) tree (50%), respectively. preferred mode utilisation route crushing (28.1%) topical (67.2%), respectively, while leaf (PPV = 2.86) most utilised part. TMP with highest SUV (0.818) Bidens Pilosa L. (Asteraceae). A number (42.2%) wound healing. ICF ringworms (0.972) least sores (0.924). maximum (JI 8.3) South Africa. Conclusion: exposed significance by THs region against To offer an understanding each plant's anti-infective role, investigation authenticate therapeutic potential is underway. suggests need create awareness among locals other stakeholders conserving indigenous knowledge country at large. Abstract Hemigraphis alternata ( H. ), commonly known as Red Flame Ivy, is widely recognized for its wound healing capabilities. However, the pharmacologically active plant components and their mechanisms of action in are yet to be determined. This study presents mass spectrometry-based global metabolite profiling aqueous ethanolic extract leaves. The analysis identified 2285 metabolites from 24,203 spectra obtained both positive negative polarities. were classified under ketones, carboxylic acids, primary aliphatic amines, steroids steroid derivatives. We performed network pharmacology explore metabolite–protein interactions 124 human proteins targets metabolites. Among these, several them implicated including prothrombin (F2), alpha-2A adrenergic receptor (ADRA2A) fibroblast growth factor 1 (FGFR1). Gene ontology target enriched cellular functions related glucose metabolic process, platelet activation, membrane organization response wounding. Additionally, pathway enrichment revealed potential molecular involved healing. Moreover, in-silico docking showed strong binding energy between with protein (F2 PTPN11). Furthermore, key further validated by multiple reaction monitoring-based targeted analysis.
