ABSTRACT
The
current
study
delves
into
the
transition
faced
by
military
veterans
upon
their
retirement
from
armed
forces.
Retirees
encounter
various
difficulties,
primarily
revolving
around
shifts
in
group
dynamics,
alterations
roles
and
responsibilities
adapting
to
civilian
life.
Rooted
Social
Identity
Model
of
Change
(SIMIC),
which
posits
that
identification
can
mitigate
threats
well‐being
during
life
transitions,

explored

Purpose

mistakes
