The urgent global demand for sustainable green energy solutions has recognized hydrogen (H2) as a viable carrier. This study explores the efficient production of H2 potential source sustainable, environmentally friendly, high-energy-density fuel characterized by eco-friendly burning by-products. research focuses on photohydrolysis reaction ammonia borane (AB), utilizing CdO-doped ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) embedded in polyurethane (PU) nanofibers (CdO/ZnO NPs@PU NFs) novel photocatalyst. Three different amounts CdO/ZnO NPs were loaded onto PU NFs. synthesized NFs exhibited good photocatalytic performance under visible light, producing approximately 67 mL from 1 mmol AB 15 min with sample containing highest loading impressive is attributed to synergistic effects CdO and ZnO, which enhance charge carrier separation broaden bandgap absorption spectrum. Kinetic studies demonstrated that first-order kinetics regarding catalyst dosing zero-order concerning concentration, an activation (Ea) 32.28 kJ/mol. results position effective photocatalysts photogeneration light irradiation.
