research
framework

prefecture-level
cities

agglomeration
Middle
Reaches
Yangtze
River
(MYR-UA)
case
sites,
study
applied
box
plots,
kernel
density
estimation,
GIS
visualization
tools,
Markov
chains,
geographic
detectors
reveal
dynamic
spatiotemporal
evolution
factors
influencing
integration
from
2009
2018.
The
results
indicate
that
level
its
subsystem
is
suboptimal
MYR-UA;
temporal
characteristic
shows
upward
fluctuating
trend,
spatial
distribution
remarkable
correlation
clustering
characteristics.
Additionally,

MYR-UA
has
both
“path
dependence”
“self-locking”
effects,
lag

on

transfer
stability.

The
interaction
between
urbanization
and
ecosystem
services
(ESs)
is
a
hot
topic
in
the
modern
human-earth
system
