ABSTRACT The popularization of information and communication technology (ICT), particularly the extensive use digital technologies in rural areas, has propelled growth e‐commerce. Despite non‐negligible role played by e‐commerce revitalization China's how such gains are distributed among households remains underexplored. This study aims to assess development affects income inequality households, exploring both direct impacts underlying mechanisms. We utilize quasi‐natural experiment with “Rural E‐commerce Comprehensive Demonstration Project” (RECD project) data from China Household Finance Survey (CHFS) spanning 2013 2019. find that significantly reduces inequality. effect complements finance is more pronounced regions online sales agricultural products. Rural E-Commerce and Income Inequality: Evidence from China

Common prosperity is the fundamental driving force of rural revitalization, as well foundation for achieving sustainable economic development. The e-commerce to countryside policy has energized economy, helping improve household resilience and reduce income stratification, thereby promoting inclusive development digital economy. Drawing on panel data collected from fixed observation points in Henan Province during 2009–2022, this study employs a staggered difference-in-differences (DID) approach evaluate impact China’s farmers’ inequality. empirical results reveal that significantly increases while mitigating underlying mechanisms function through three synergistic pathways: industrial structural upgrading, manifested tri-sector integration driven by enterprise development; factor allocation restructuring, evidenced productivity gains optimized labor–capital reallocation; enhanced market inclusion technology empowerment lowers participation barriers. Heterogeneity analysis indicates exhibits pro-poor characteristics, with its income-enhancing equalizing effects being particularly pronounced agricultural areas, traditional villages, county-level civilized underdeveloped regions, registered poverty-stricken households low human, physical, financial capital endowments. Does Non-Farm Employment Promote Farmland Abandonment of Resettled Households? Evidence from Shaanxi, China

Does E-Commerce Participation among Farming Households Affect Farmland Abandonment? Evidence from a Large-Scale Survey in China

Reducing farmland abandonment is crucial for food security. While the association between e-commerce proliferation and at village level has been discussed, correlation farming household remains unexplored. Utilizing 2020 survey data from 3831 rural households across 10 Chinese provinces, this study develops an “e-commerce–household–farmland abandonment” framework to explore co-occurrence of engagement with abandonment, using econometric models. The Dynamic Influence of Uncertainty on Sector Equity Funds: A Time-Frequency Analysis of Oil, Gold, and Market Volatility
