Teaching-school students with a pesantren education background have source of identity rich Islamic values. Research-based on their formation is essential. They need to consider experiences help them when entering college. This study aims determine the components sources new in Department English at one universities East Java. By referring fund's framework, this analyzes self-portraits teaching-school find origins student formation. research employs observation techniques and in-depth interviews four teaching school educational backgrounds. The results indicate that backgrounds social, valuative, practical, institutional, disciplinary categories. From sociological perspective, formation's are part positive social capital pedagogical methodological implications process.Mahasiswa keguruan yang mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan membawa sumber identitas kaya nilai Islam. Penelitian mengenai pembentuk mereka miliki penting dilakukan. Pengalaman bawa perlu dirangkul sebagai upaya untuk membantu ketika masuk dalam perguruan tinggi. ini bertujuan mengetahui komponen-komponen mahasiswa baru Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Dengan mengacu pada kerangka funds identity, penelitian menganalisis self-portrait mahasiswa-keguruan mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 4 orang dengan pesantren. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa berlatar identitas, yakni disciplinary. Secara Sosiologis, tersebut merupakan bagian dari modal sosial positif memiliki implikasi pedagogi metodologi proses pengajaran.

Abstract Heritage language (HL) learning is often facilitated by consistent exposure to the HL in family policy (FLP). However, when children develop a preference for majority language, members may negotiate their use of both languages establish stronger emotional bond with while providing rich input. While the influence of learning experiences on foreign language motivation has been widely recognised, there is very little empirical research examining its role. To fill this lacuna, current study theorises experience from a positive psychology (PP) lens with reference to PERMA model. Analytical primacy given how various dimensions contributed other than English (LOTE) learners' motivational development. Using convenient sampling, data were collected through written reports and semi-structured interviews eight international LOTE learners Chinese examined thematic analysis. Findings indicate that could be holistic framework within which appropriately interpreted. Blended learning, a pedagogical approach that seamlessly integrates online and offline teaching methods, has evolved into pivotal component of higher education. In order to assess students’ perspectives on their experiences with blended learning in vocational schools, we developed comprehensive tool known as the Learning Perception Scale (BLPS). The scale’s reliability validity have been rigorously substantiated through data obtained from 600 students enrolled school China. creation this scale primarily entailed application quantitative methodologies, including both exploratory confirmatory factor analyses. final encompasses 24 items, categorizing student perceptions five distinct factors: content coherence, interaction effectiveness, platform functionality, motivation, satisfaction. Collectively, these factors elucidate 68.346% total variance. Moreover, Cronbach’s coefficients (α) for range 0.791 0.842, denoting high degree internal consistency thereby establishing reliability. Item-based analysis further substantiates discriminability, while unequivocally confirms its structural validity. Each factor’s average variance extracted (AVE) ranges 0.589 0.671, cumulative value 2.766. Additionally, Root Mean Square Error Approximation (RSMEA) recorded at 0.053 underscores satisfactory level essence, study presents valid dependable instrument gauging thoughtfully tailored specific attributes education students. Furthermore, it offers insights areas necessitate enhancement within programs.

The motivation of students to learn Chinese as a foreign language has received considerable research attention. Related been conducted by the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) researchers or lecturers on UiTM over years. However, there is currently no investigating trend, changes, and prospect students’ in learning language, which retard future enhancement field. Thus, this study applied structured review method publications produced from 2003 2023. A total 8 relevant were identified analysed using PRISMA 2020 guidelines. indicated that number related topic still limited but showing potential growth. This discovered methodological gap calls for more qualitative mixed investigations, well population analysis encourage comparative studies rather than general investigations. findings demonstrated both Diploma Degree motivational trend balanced between instrumental integrative motivation. Nonetheless, behaviour changed distinctly intrinsic extrinsic, compared students. suggests putting attention nurturing motivation, correlates extrinsic provides pedagogical implications teaching language. Future factors influencing change behaviour, impact behavioural reason rise situation-specific motives elder higher level are required.

Abstract Drawing on Activity Theory, this study is an attempt to explore and explicate learners’ emotions in a Chinese English-medium instruction (EMI) context. During the last few years, efforts have been made to understand, substantiate and reinterpret perezhivanie construct. This concept partially proposed by Vygotsky is currently used as a useful theoretical-practical tool for understanding of development. However, its implications processes such learning, emotions, agency others still need be explored. study reviews usefulness affect learning through systematic review. Recent research using term in studies conducted educational contexts at different levels was analysed. Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 criteria were used, proposing search string English, Spanish Portuguese exploring Scopus, Web Science (WoS), Direct, SciELO Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) databases, including articles book chapters. Forty-two selected after reviewing abstracts, which only 17 met inclusion exclusion criteria. Once selection completed, analysed ATLAS.ti version 8.1. In qualitative analysis content, information classified codes. Based on results, transcendence this discussed necessary alternative relationships between from historical-cultural perspective.
