With multiple blue crises unfolding, momentum exists to develop and implement transformative marine governance approaches towards sustainable use of our oceans. Such will only be when they foster reflexive that questions changes existing values structures power governance. Yet, we lack understanding how change relates reflexivity. This article takes an actor perspective conceptualises reflexivity through three elements: (1) the trigger leads (2) processes single, double triple loop learning reflection, (3) capacity enact change. The transformative potential of circular agriculture initiatives in the North of the Netherlands

Circular agriculture is increasingly seen as a way to produce food while respecting planetary boundaries. The buzz around circular results in wide variety of initiatives and experiments aimed at implementing circularity practice. Abstract Urgent change is required in the governance of ocean spaces to contend with increasing presence and impact human activities, solution which often labelled a ‘transformation.’ While diverse interpretations this concept exist across academic disciplines, grounded exploration subject those involved has not been undertaken critical gap practical implementation concept.
