Highway service area pavements are exposed to severe conditions such as heavy traffic, oil infiltration, and temperature fluctuations, which lead issues like rutting cracking in conventional asphalt mixtures. Although warm mix epoxy mixtures have high strength corrosion resistance, their content stringent construction requirements limit engineering applications. To address these challenges, a design method for with low (≤20%) was proposed. The mineral aggregate gradation optimized using the CAVF volumetric method, impact of different asphalt-aggregate ratios analyzed through various performance tests, including Marshall stability, high-temperature low-temperature bending, resistance tests. available time determined viscosity process parameters were based on infrared thermography real-time compaction monitoring. results show that 5.4% ratio yields best overall performance, significantly better dynamic tensile strain, compared SBS-modified recommended parameters, control process, ensure optimal durability. proposed methods provide essential technical support effective application pavements.

Asphalt mixtures exhibit dimensional complexity and morphological diversity, with blurred component boundaries hindering accurate mesostructure restoration. A convolutional neural network model RAN-UNet based on attention mechanisms multi-scale feature fusion was proposed in this paper. The threshold segmentation method, U-Net its improved models were compared to process CT images of asphalt mixtures, the performance accuracy evaluated for aggregates voids within various gradations. applicability methods different gradation components mixture analyzed. results showed that has a better predictive ability robustness than commonly used models. It can predict morphology target objects more accurately restore angularity greater extent. This study provide an efficient highly method field image segmentation.
