Abstract
Aspiration
pneumonia
is
a
serious
respiratory
condition,
which
particularly
prevalent
in
patients
with
dysphagia,
neurological
disorders,
or
those
undergoing
surgical
interventions.
The
formation
of
multispecies
biofilms
the
oral
cavity,
involving
bacterial
periodontopathogen
Porphyromonas
gingivalis
and
opportunistic
pathogenic
fungus
Candida
albicans
,
may
also
be
related
to
development
this
disease,
contributing
resistance
standard
antimicrobial
treatment.
Therefore,
research
aimed
evaluate
efficacy
selected
antibiotics‒levofloxacin,
metronidazole,
meropenem,
vancomycin‒and
antifungal
agents‒amphotericin
B,
caspofungin,
fluconazole‒on

mixed

Nontuberculous
mycobacterial
