The laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) technique is considered versatile for multi-elemental analysis and imaging because it easy to handle, compatible with different types of solid samples, requires minimal sample preparation, provides high spatial resolution sensitivity.
