Abstract Digital twins represent a promising technology within the domain of precision healthcare, offering significant prospects for individualized medical interventions. Existing systematic reviews, however, mainly focus on technological dimensions digital twins, with limited exploration their impact health-related outcomes. Therefore, this review aims to explore efficacy in improving healthcare at population level. The literature search study encompassed PubMed, Embase, Web Science, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, SinoMed, CNKI, and Wanfang Database retrieve potentially relevant records. Patient outcomes were synthesized employing quantitative content analysis, whereas Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) scales used evaluate quality potential bias inherent each selected study. Following established inclusion exclusion criteria, 12 studies screened from an initial 1321 records further analysis.
