Abstract In this article, we report the synthesis of first example V‐shaped unique structure complex {[Hg(nvp) 2 (NCS)(Cl)][Hg(nvp) (NCS) ]} ( 1 ; 4‐nvp = 4‐(1‐naphthylvinyl)pyridine and SCN − thiocyanate) containing two heteroleptic monometallic Hg(II) based units. The undergoes a variety conventional unconventional supramolecular interactions, such as hydrogen bonding, chalcogen⋯π, halogen⋯π, π⋯π chalcogen⋯halogen interactions to generate higher dimensional architecture. These assemblies, along with presence d 10 metal ion promote large charge transportation make material behave semiconductor well Schottky diode. shows high conductivity (1.73 × −3 S/m), maintaining 1.54 ideality factor. This allows quick response times low noise, enhancing signal clarity efficiency in electronic devices, making it ideal for high‐speed photodetectors. semiconducting behavior is also realized by density functional theory (DFT) computed band gap study.

A porous and flexible Zn-MOF was synthesized under solvothermal conditions by using the ligand 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (2,5-FDA). This demonstrates a temperature-triggered breathing effect. At low temperature (100 K), we obtained high-symmetry MOF denoted as SM-A with unit cell volume of 1958 Å3, characterized triangular narrow pore (np) channels. Upon increasing from 100 K to 298 K, lower symmetry referred SM-B obtained, featuring rhombic large (lp) channels, along an expanded 7823 Å3. temperature-induced phase transition involves distortion channels change in dimensionality framework 3D (SM-A) 2D (SM-B). The behavior were thoroughly justified help single-crystal X-ray diffraction differential scanning calorimetry. Additionally, BET analysis revealed surface area 85.504 m2/g, mesopores 3.05 nm. Leveraging large-pore at room employed adsorbent for removal hazardous iodine both vapor solution phases. discovery such dynamic MOFs holds potential may pave way novel strategies advanced applications.

Co-Cu-Ni and Co-Cu-Zn trimetallic nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared by chemical reduction method which then used as adsorbent to remove Crocein Orange G dye from solution. ABSTRACT Detecting antibiotic residues is crucial for monitoring their excessive use in healthcare and agricultural practices. Herein, a new 3D metal–organic framework (MOF) containing {[Cd (bpyp)(sdba)]·DMF·2H 2 O} n ( 1 ) (bpyp = 2,5‐bis (pyrid‐4‐yl)pyridine H sdba 4,4′‐sulfonyldibenzoic acid) has been designed synthesized. MOF displays sensitive detection tetracycline (TCY) with limit of below 7.67 × 10 −6 M an aqueous solution. The mechanism involves competitive absorption between antibiotics, supported by UV–vis spectroscopy fluorescence lifetime measurements. exhibits visible response to TCY under 254 nm UV lamp. applied the quantitative lake water recovery based on sensing platform was 92.26–107.54% RSD (%) less than 4.38%, indicating outstanding reliability.
