Coordination polymers (CPs) are a diverse class of multi-dimensional compounds that show promise as photocatalysts for degrading dyes in polluted water. Herein, new 1D Cd(II)-based coordination polymer with the formula [Cd(bpyp)(nba)2] (1) (bpyp = 2,5-bis(pyrid-4-yl)pyridine and Hnba 4-nitrobenzoic acid) is synthesized characterized. In 1, two carboxyl groups different nba- ligands μ2-η1:η1 μ1-η1:η1 modes to connect CdII centers sit on either side chain along b direction. The produced CP 1 was utilized photocatalyst process photodegradation methyl blue (MB), orange (MO), rhodamine B (RhB), violet (MV) when exposed UV light. photocatalytic degradation activities were analyzed, results suggest it exhibits an extraordinary efficiency MB, MV, MO, RhB. RhB has 95.52% degradation, whereas MV 58.92% efficiency, MO 35.44%, MB 29.24%. photodecomposition catalyzed mostly by •O2- •OH-, shown research involving trapping radicals.

Cancer is one of the greatest challenges in medical science today as it poses a serious threat to human life. In view this, myriad therapeutic strategies are being developed for treatment cancer. Despite use various approaches, they still insufficient The rapid advancement nanotechnology currently offers exciting possibilities creation novel cancer therapy approaches. Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) emerging multifunctional nanomaterials that find prospective applications biomedical field owing their porosity, large specific surface area, and diversified structures. Amongst varied categories MOFs, Hf(IV)-based MOFs have been since 2012 finding new hence this class gaining immense attention amongst material biomaterial chemists. Most importantly, Hf(IV)-MOFs comprising high Z-Hf metal content may be capable offering options therapy, nonlinear optics, fluorescent sensors, photoresponsive devices. review, progress using radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, phototherapeutic techniques, or combination two more these techniques explored. This review also provides insight regarding current limitations future prospects therapy.

In this paper, a new 0D Ag(I)‐based coordination polymer [Ag 2 (dib)(H L) ]( 1 ) is proposed as photocatalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of nitrofurantoin (NFT) under ultraviolet irradiation. The catalytic was analyzed by various methods such PXRD, SEM, FT‐IR, TGA, UV–vis, DRS, and electrochemical tests. experimental result shows that an n ‐type semiconductor, which can effectively catalyze photodegradation NFT Under optimal reaction conditions, rate 97.95% within 60 min when concentration 30 ppm. experiment free radical capture O ˙ − main active substance photodecomposition, possible mechanism proposed. This research will lay foundation polymers in field antibiotic degradation.
