Corrosion

In
this
paper,
four
quinoline
quaternary
ammonium
salts
were
synthesized
using
quaternization
reaction,

benzyl
quinolion
(BQL),
naphthylmethyl
quinolinium
chloride
(NQL),
benzyl-8-hydroxy
(BHQ)
and
8-hydroxy
(NHQ).

inhibition
properties
of
the
derivatives

inhibitors

steel
in
20%
HCl
solution
at
60°C

Abstract
Self‐repairing
coatings
have
received
widespread
attention
due
to
their
ability
repair
damaged
surfaces.
However,
film‐forming
molecules
can
only
be
fixed
on
the
metal
surface
through
relatively
weak
physical
and
chemical
adsorption.
This
drawback
limits
its
self‐repairing
ability.
Here,
a
mode‐switchable
TENG
(MS‐TENG)
is
developed,
which
has
switch
between
AC
DC
outputs
as
an
adjustable
charge
source
for
coatings.
Besides
normal
sector
electrodes
of
rotational
TENG,
MS‐TENG
special
design
external
(small
extension
rotator
inner/outer
orbit
stator)
achieves
accumulation
excitation
circuit
output
air
breakdown
with
advantage
complete
release
accumulated
charges.
