Background:
Multiple
sclerosis
(MS)
is
a
long-term
autoimmune
inflammatory
disorder
that
affects
the
central
nervous
system
leading
to
neurodegeneration,
and
can
involve
variety
of
symptoms.
These
symptoms
include
fatigue,
anxiety,
depression,
cognitive
decline,
which
may
be
silent.
The
objective
this
study
was
explore
changes
in
brain
iron
deposition
people
with
relapsing-remitting
MS
(pw-RRMS)
compared
healthy
controls
(HCs),
particular
focus
on
regions
fear
circuit.
Additionally,
