Herein, we synthesized AgI/ZIF-8/g-C 3 N 4 ternary composites as a highly efficient heterojunction photocatalyst. Various techniques such XRD, 2 adsorption-desorption isotherm, DRS, PL, TEM, and FE-SEM were examined to analyse several properties of the g-C , ZIF-8, AgI, ZIF-8/g-C photocatalysts. The photodecomposition Rh.B dye was investigated under visible-light exposure over fabricated materials in simple batch split-plate airlift photocatalytic reactors. findings showed that photodegradation efficiency excellent, due synergistic effect between simplifying fast charge transfer. Notably, degradation photoreactor higher more rapid (98.8 %) compared reactor (92 %). activity is significantly enhanced by high self-mixing air flow dissolved O thus further − radicle generation. factors affecting photocatalyst studied including pH, concentration, amount. cocomposite exhibited outstanding steadiness recyclability even after five cycles, so it probable be very beneficial treatment contaminated water.
