Abstract
This
systematic
review
and
meta-analysis
examined
the
NFT
effects
on
attentional
performance
in
healthy
adults.
Six
databases
were
searched
until
June
2022
to
identify
parallel
randomized
controlled
trials
(RCTs)
evaluating
improvements
after
NFT.
Risk
of
bias
was
assessed
using
Cochrane
Collaboration
tool.
We
identified
41
RCTs
for
qualitative
synthesis
15
(569
participants)
meta-analysis.
The
overall
effect

ABSTRACT
Neurofeedback
training
(NFT)
has
emerged
as
a
promising
technique
for
enhancing
sports
performance
by
enabling
individuals
to
self‐regulate
their
neural
activity.
However,
only
53%
of
the
13
included
studies,
all
which
published
before
2021,
in
latest
meta‐analyses
NFT
and
motor
focused
on
outcomes.
Due
rapid
development
neurofeedback,
8
high‐quality
articles
were
2023–2024
alone.
Therefore,
there
is
need
new
meta‐analysis
update
impact
performance.
In
this
systematic
review
meta‐analysis,
we
have
not
reassessed
knowledge
effect
EEG
neurofeedback
but
also
incorporated
standardized
methodology,
known
CRED‐nf
checklist
(Consensus
reporting
experimental
design
clinical
cognitive‐behavioral
studies),
methodological
evaluation
previous
studies.
