Climate change has a disproportionate impact on communities that rely natural resources, especially those in vulnerable, disaster-prone regions like Odisha, India. This study evaluates the climate vulnerability of Juanga tribes Keonjhar District, using Livelihood Vulnerability Index (LVI), which is based Intergovernmental Panel Change's model. Data were collected from 200 households, whose livelihoods primarily depend agriculture and resources. Secondary data also integrated to enhance findings. The analysis identified "livelihood status" (0.56) "social (0.53) as most vulnerable components among seven factors assessed. These results indicate economic conditions social networks are key determining community's resilience impacts. demonstrates LVI can serve an effective tool for policymakers prioritize interventions, plan long-term strategies, tribal communities. By providing quantitative measure vulnerability, underscores importance context-specific adaptation strategies mitigate effects change. Ultimately, framework guide sustainable development initiatives, ensuring needs marginalized Juangas addressed policies.

Abstract Nipah Beach is famous as a turtle nesting site because of the characteristics its natural habitat. The located in North Lombok Regency, Indonesia, region known for attraction to marine tourism, contributing rapid economic development. However, lack community awareness among local people and visitors regarding existence such an ecosystem poses significant threats sea habitats, which may lead shrinking population. conservation challenges concerning have been encountered through various programs activities ensure sustainability protected species. Along with these initiatives, strengthening basis measuring level knowledge, behavior, practices coming not accompanied by this. Therefore, this study aims evaluate visitors’ Attitude, Practice (KAP) on Beach. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys qualitative interviews assess KAP levels socio-economic impact communities. result finds that attitudes are generally highly related conservation; meanwhile, moderate knowledge shown research findings. Furthermore, key demographic factors, including education occupation, significantly influence scores. recommends enhanced public awareness, improved educational interventions, stronger enforcement regulations foster sustainable balance between habitat preservation.
