This Perspective article explores the challenges associated with direct application of photobiomodulation (PBM) to gut and presents a novel hypothesis for indirect health modulation through oral microbiome alteration. Given difficulties in delivering PBM effectively deep gastrointestinal tissues, an alternative approach involves targeting microbiome, which has demonstrated relationship microbiome. Research indicates that applied cavity could selectively alter microbial composition. alteration may, via oral-gut axis, indirectly impact health. hypothesis, supported by preliminary studies, suggests offer promising non-invasive strategy managing gut-related disorders. Furthermore, there may be link between brain diseases. proximity brain, PBM-induced changes microbiota help prevent neurological However, further investigation is necessary comprehensively elucidate underlying mechanisms therapeutic implications this approach.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a leading cause of widespread morbidity and mortality. It has been found that the gut oral microbiomes differ in individuals with CVDs compared to healthy individuals. Patients often require long-term pharmacological interventions. While these medications have extensively studied for their cardiovascular benefits, emerging research indicates they may also impact diversity composition microbiomes. However, our understanding how factors influence compositions remains limited. Studies shown statins beta-blockers, particular, microbial dysbiosis, impacting metabolism absorption medications. These alterations can lead variations drug responses, highlighting need personalized treatment approaches. The microbiome's role CVD on microbiome crucial variations. there very few studies this area, not all studied, emphasizing necessity further conclusively establish cause-and-effect relationships determine clinical significance interactions. Dietary deficiencies in zinc (Zn) and vitamin A (VA) are among the leading micronutrient globally previous research has proposed a notable interaction between Zn VA physiological status. This study aimed to assess effects of (isolated combined) on intestinal functionality morphology, gut microbiome (Gallus gallus). The included nine treatment groups (n~11)-no-injection (NI); H2O; 0.5% oil; normal (40 mg/kg ZnSO4) (ZN); low (20 mg/kg) (ZL); retinoid (1500 IU/kg retinyl palmitate) (RN); (100 IU/kg) (RL); mg/kg; 1500 (ZNRN); (ZLRL) 100 IU/kg). Samples were injected into amniotic fluid fertile broiler eggs. Tissue samples collected upon hatch target biomarkers. ZLRL reduced ZIP4 gene expression upregulated ZnT1 (p < 0.05). Aplastic anemia (AA) and hypoplastic myelodysplastic syndrome are paradigms of autoimmune hematopoietic failure (AHF). Myelodysplastic acute myeloid leukemia unequivocal neoplasms (MNs). Currently, AA is also known to be a clonal hematological disease. Genetic aberrations typically observed in MNs detected approximately one-third patients. In patients harboring MN-related genetic aberrations, poor response immunosuppressive therapy (IST) an increased risk transformation occurring either naturally or after IST predicted. Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder marked by cognitive decline, for which effective treatments remain elusive due to complex pathogenesis. Recent advances in neuroimaging, gene therapy, and gut microbiota research offer new insights potential intervention strategies. Neuroimaging enables early detection staging of AD through visualization biomarkers, aiding diagnosis tracking disease progression. Gene therapy presents promising approach modifying AD-related genetic expressions, targeting amyloid tau pathology, potentially repairing neuronal damage. Furthermore, emerging evidence suggests that the influences pathology gut-brain axis, impacting inflammation, immune response, metabolism. However, each these technologies faces significant challenges, including concerns about safety, efficacy, ethical considerations. This article reviews applications, advantages, limitations AD, with particular focus on their combined diagnosis, mechanistic insights, therapeutic interventions. Abstract Metagenome sequencing techniques revolutionized the field of gut microbiome study. However, it is equipped with experimental and computational biases, which affect downstream analysis results. Also, live microbial strains are needed for a better understanding host-microbial crosstalks designing next-generation treatment therapies based on probiotic postbiotic molecules. Conventional culturing methodologies insufficient to get dark matter plate; therefore, there an urgent need propose novel methods that can fill limitations metagenomics. The current work aims provide consolidated evaluation available host-microbe interaction emphasis in vitro microbes using organoids, chip, bioreactor. Further, knowledge crosstalk helps us identify core microbiota, key metabolites will aid media co-culturing systems After deeper mining methods, we recommend 3D-printed intestinal cells multistage continuous flow reactor extended organoid system might be good practical choice microbiota-based studies.
