Importance Hypertension is a primary modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular death and disability. Accurate blood pressure (BP) measurement essential the diagnosis treatment of hypertension. Conventional BP with cuff devices recommended but difficult patients to perform due inconvenience, discomfort, challenges appropriate sizing protocols. The emergence cuffless provides an opportunity address many these problems, including patient comfort, positional requirements, continuous measurement. Observations Cuffless are appealing clinicians, validation technologies before they can be deployed clinical use. Key issues that remain include accuracy undertreatment or overtreatment, equitable access low- middle-income countries minoritized populations, data privacy concerns, how will in practice. Conclusions Clinicians should only use validated until appropriately tested validated.

This systematic review examines four themes of device-based remote monitoring (DRM): technology, patient and support, integration DRM into clinical care, engagement, their impact on hospital service use. We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) until 2024 comparing use in with usual care. Hospital decreased 72% the 116 RCTs. Non-implantable devices were most commonly used to measure data, but showed a lower decrease than implanted or mobile (69% vs 89% 76%). Providing 24/7 support for patients led (81% studies). replacing involving designated healthcare providers, patient-performed data transmission greater has potential further reduce additional factors such as sufficient automated processes, optimized care redesign.

Speech emotion recognition (SER) as a Machine Learning (ML) problem continues to garner significant amount of research interest, especially in the affective computing domain. This is due its increasing potential, algorithmic advancements, and applications real-world scenarios. Human speech contains para-linguistic information that can be represented using quantitative features such pitch, intensity, Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC). SER commonly achieved following three key steps: data processing, feature selection/extraction, classification based on underlying emotional features. Abstract Background In the digital age, maintaining patient confidentiality while ensuring effective care coordination poses significant challenges for healthcare providers, particularly nurses. Aim To investigate and strategies associated with balancing in age. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted a general hospital Egypt to collect data from 150 nurses across various departments at least six months of experience care. Data were collected using tools: Demographic Form, HIPAA Compliance Checklist, Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Tool, Sharing Agreement (DSA) Framework, EHR Security NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Validity Reliability ensured through pilot testing factor analysis. Results Participants primarily aged 31–40 years (45%), 75% female 60% staff High compliance observed especially Administrative Safeguards (3.8 ± 0.5), indicating strong management training processes, an overall score 85 10. The PIA Tool showed robust privacy management, Project Descriptions scoring 4.5 0.3 total 30 3. DSA Framework had mean 20 2, Protection Measures highest 4.0 0.4. assessments revealed high scores Access Controls (4.4 0.3) Integrity (4.3 0.3), 22 1.5. 18 Protect (3.8) lower Detect (3.6). Strong positive correlations found between ( r = 0.70, p < 0.05) 0.55, 0.05), reflecting protection practices. Conclusion suggests that continuous improvement practices among ongoing comprehensive frameworks, is vital enhancing supporting coordination.

This cross-sectional study explored potential contributors telehealth among SOT recipients, including liver, kidney, and simultaneous liver–kidney recipients. A total of 136 adult completed an online survey. The survey assessed satisfaction, previous experiences, confidence levels for assistance from others, electronic health literacy (eHealth literacy), perceived physical mental status, cognitive function, along with demographic clinical characteristics. multivariate regression backward selection method was used identify contributing satisfaction. Participants had a mean age 60.1 years (standard deviation [ SD] = 10.5) were, on average, 92 months post-transplant ( SD 99.9). score 5.3 out 7 1.2), indicating positive telehealth.
