This paper investigates the techno-economic implications on air travel when fossil-based kerosene is phased out of market, specifically focusing comparison between liquid hydrogen, methane and renewable for ten exemplary flight routes to estimate cost per passenger 100 km distance travelled €2020PAX100km every fuel type. By considering entire supply chain, including hydrogen production from sources, synthesis, oversea transport, domestic distribution, utilization, this study addresses overarching question whether it more economical change source or itself reduce fossil usage in aviation industry. Two-dimensional transition metal titanium carbide (Ti3 C2 Tx ) as a promising candidate material for batteries and supercapacitors has shown excellent electrochemical performance, but it is difficult to meet practical applications because of its poor morphology structure, low mechanical properties, expensive process. Here, an applied efficient method based on microfluidic wet-fusing spinning chemistry (MWSC) proposed construct hierarchical structure MXene-based fiber fabrics (MFFs), allowing the availability MFF electrodes with ultrastrong toughness, high conductivity, easily machinable properties. First, dot-sheet constructed by graphene quantum dots (GQDs) MXene nanosheets multianchor interaction in microchannel device enhances strength fibers; next, interfused network Ti3 /GQDs assembled MWSC process deformability whole fabrics; finally, core-shell PANI@Ti3 architected in-situ polymerization growth polyaniline (PANI) nanofibers provides more ion-accessible pathways sites kinetic migration ion accumulation. This review discusses the progress of research on sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) and its composite membranes in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). SPEEK is a promising material for replacing traditional perfluorosulfonic acid due to excellent thermal stability, mechanical property, tunable conductivity. Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production is one of the strategies to guarantee an environmental-friendly development sector. This work evaluates technical, economic and environmental feasibility obtaining SAFs by hydrogenation vegetable oils thanks in-situ hydrogen via aqueous phase reforming (APR) glycerol by-product. The novel implementation APR would avoid burden conventional fossil-derived production, as well intermittency storage issues related use RES-based (renewable energy sources) electrolysers. conceptual design a advanced (APR-aided) biorefinery was performed, considering standard plant capacity equal 180 ktonne/y palm oil. Electrochemically driven carbon–carbon coupling utilizing renewable electricity under ambient conditions has emerged as an innovative approach for synthesizing high-value chemicals, which still faces inherent challenges such low conversion rates and poor selectivity. While electroreducing furfural to hydrofuroin can produce high-quality biofuel, its efficiency need be promoted. Herein, Cu–Sn bimetallic catalyst been developed with a rate of >97% selectivity >67% through equilibrium the interfacial intermediate *H *fur-CHOH, exhibits greatest state-of-the-art overall performance. Characterization theoretical calculation reveal that Cu serves active site generating whose electron density decreased by introducing Sn, results in higher *fur-CHOH coverage lower energy barrier dimerization. Moreover, adding Sn also enables sluggish formation balance *H, leading reduced hydrogenation byproducts. The as-developed provides valuable insights optimizing other C–C electrocoupling reactions synthesis chemicals.
