This study aimed to investigate the effects of applying arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on maize root growth and yield formation under different soil conditions. was conducted sandy (S) saline-alkali (Y), with treatments AMF application (AM) no (CK). The characteristics, yield, quality were measured. High-throughput sequencing technology employed assess impact microbial community structure, correlation between microbes physicochemical properties elucidated. results show that both conditions, significantly enhanced growth, grain quality, available nitrogen (AN), phosphorus (AP), potassium (AK) contents compared CK treatment. Soil Alpha diversity analysis indicated effectively increased richness. Principal coordinate (PCoA) structure revealed significant differences in bacterial communities AM treatment (SAM) (SCK), fungal (YAM) (YCK). Furthermore, correlations found, such as AN, AP, AK, salinity (SS), organic matter (OM) content. had a greater than communities. demonstrated use bio-fungal fertilizer effective improving spring yields, especially terms increase stability saline soils, thereby contributing safe sustainable cropping practices.
