Abstract
As
the
main
active
compound
of
Glycyrrhiza
glabra
L.,
glabridin
(GLD)
has
been
shown
to
have
multiple
bioactivities,
whereas
clinical
application
GLD
is
restricted
by
its
low
water
solubility.
In
this
study,
was
encapsulated
into
a
sulfobutylether‐β‐cyclodextrin
(SBE‐β‐CD)‐based
inclusion
complex
(SBE‐β‐CD/GLD)
freeze‐drying
method.

Traditional
Chinese
medicine
(TCM)
has
gained
considerable
attention
over
the
past
few
years
for
its
multicomponent,
multitarget,
and
multi-pathway
approach
to
treating
different
diseases.
Studies
have
shown
that
TCMs
as
adjuvant
therapy
along
with
conventional
treatment
may
benefit
in
safely
various
disorders.
However,
investigations
on
finding
effective
herbal
combinations
are
ongoing.
A
novel
TCM
formula,
“Jing
Si
Herbal
Tea
(JSHT),”
been
reported
recently
their
health-promoting
effects
improving
overall
body
mental
health.
JSHT
is
a
combination
of
eight
herbs
recognized
pharmacopoeia
anti-viral,
anti-aging,
anti-cancer
properties
well
protective
against
cardiovascular,
metabolic,
neural,
digestive,
genitourinary
Thus,
better
understand
beneficial
ingredients
health,
this
review
intends
summarize
preclinical
clinical
studies
human
health
diseases,
possible
therapeutic
related
mode
actions
future
prospects
application
complementary
therapies.

the

been

for
treatment

Traditionally,

medicinal
plants
considered
safe,
inexpensive,
widely
acceptable.
In
Serbia,
traditional
medicine,
based
on
strong
belief
in
power
herbs,
widespread
form
treatment.
This
supported
by
fact
that
Serbia
classified
as
one

world
centers
biodiversity,
which
confirms
this
country
treasure
herbs.
Some
most
herbs
inflammations
various
causes
Serbian
tradition
are
yarrow,
common
agrimony,
couch
grass,
onion,
garlic,
marshmallow,
birch,
calendula,
liquorice,
walnut,
St.
John’s
wort,
chamomile,
peppermint,
white
willow,
sage,
many
others.
The
biological
activity
effect
selected
attributed
different
groups
secondary

such
flavonoids,
phenolic
acids,
sterols,
terpenoids,
sesquiterpenes,
tannins.

Background:
Renowned
since
ancient
times
for
its
medical
properties,
liquorice
is
nowadays
mainly
used
flavoring
candies
or
soft
drinks.
Continuous
intake
of
large
amounts
a
widely
known
cause
pseudo-hyperaldosteronism
leading
to
hypertension
and
hypokalemia.
These
manifestations
are
usually
mild,
although
in
some
cases
may
generate
life-threatening
complications,
i.e.,
arrhythmias,
muscle
paralysis,
rhabdomyolysis,
coma.
In
addition,
has
an
important
estrogenic-like
activity.
Methods:
We
summarized
the
current
knowledge
about
reviewed

case
reports
both
English

from

2023
concerning
complications

intake.

plants
