The ApoE4 allele is the strongest genetic determinant for Alzheimer's disease (AD), while obesity a strong environmental risk AD. modulatory effect of ApoE genotype on aging-related cognitive function in tandem with high-fat diet (HFD) remains uncertain. This study aimed to elucidate effects ApoE3/ApoE4 genotypes aged mice exposed HFD, and benefits n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) from fish oil. Remarkably, HFD led weight gain lipid accumulation, more pronounced ApoE3 mice, experienced exacerbated cerebral insulin resistance, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress. Critically, PUFAs modulated signaling via IRS-1/AKT/GLUT4 pathway, mitigated microglial hyperactivity, reduced IL-6 MDA levels, thereby counteracting deficits. These findings highlight contrasting impacts aging supporting as strategic nutritional intervention brain health, especially carriers.

Goat milk is considered the optimal substitute for human and characterized by variations in lipid composition of its fat globules across lactation phases. Therefore, objective this study was to thoroughly analyze differences between goat during different lactations milk, aiming offer scientific guidance production functional dairy products. Compared with transitional mature findings indicated that total membrane protein content colostrum exhibited greater similarity found milk. Additionally, higher globule size, as well a than A 1461 molecules 61 subclasses were identified The contents glycerides glycerophospholipids colostrum, whereas sphingolipids fatty acids more abundant Meanwhile, compositions inconsistent. There 584 differentially expressed lipids including 47 primarily involved metabolism glycerophospholipids, sphingolipids, triglycerides. In summary, both composition, there

Abstract Lipid metabolism disorders are a large group of diseases for the treatment which various strategies used, including use pancreatic lipase inhibitors that reduce intake and adsorption lipids. This study was first shows agricultural wastes cucumber ( Cucumis sativus ) can be source effective inhibitors. As result chromatographic separation metabolites in C. leaves, seven acylated flavonoids were identified, three new derivatives isovitexin characterized by UV, NMR spectroscopy mass spectrometry data as isovitexin-2"- O -glucoside-6"- -ferulate 1 ), - p -coumarate 2 -(6"- -feruloyl)-glucoside-6"- 3 ). The quantitative HPLC showed total content leaves Russian varieties amounted to 3.78–7.44 mg/g dry plant weight. Isolated compounds demonstrated ability inhibit human lipase; effectiveness compound greatest exceeded activity reference Orlistat. has shown useful biologically active phytocomponents with hypolipidemic activity.

Introduction As a source of low-cost and high-quality meat for human beings, the consumption camel was increasing, beef has similar texture nutritional characteristics with meat. Camel hump fatty-tails are important parts fat storage camels fat-tailed lambs, respectively, which were to adapt endure harsh environments. Considering their physiological functions, composition might be similar. Lipidomics is system-level analysis lipids method, play an role in determination quantification individual lipid molecular specie, food adulteration labeling. Methods A GC/MS used analyze fatty acids Xinjiang Bactrian meat, hump, beef, fatty-tails. UPLC-Q-TOF/MS based on lipidomics approach composition, characterize examine differences Results discussion The major four samples C16:0, C18:0, C18:1 cis , had significant low SFA content high MUFA content. total 342 species detected, 192, 64, 79 distinguishing found groups compared fatty-tails, respectively. Lipid metabolisms ether lipid, glycerophospholipid, glycerolipid, sphingolipid most influential pathways revealed by KEGG analysis. results contributed enrich information indicated that alternative method distinguish samples.

The maintenance of redox homeostasis is associated with a healthy status while the disruption this mechanism leads to development various pathological conditions. Bioactive molecules such as carbohydrates accessible microbiota (MACs), polyphenols, and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are food components best characterized for their beneficial effect on human health. In particular, increasing evidence suggests that antioxidant ability involved in prevention several diseases.
