Abstract Our understanding of RNA biology has evolved with recent advances in research from it being a non-functional product to molecules the genome specific regulatory functions. Competitive endogenous (ceRNA), which gained prominence over time as an essential part post-transcriptional mechanism, is one such example. The ceRNA hypothesis states that coding and non-coding co-regulate each other using microRNA (miRNA) response elements. components include long RNAs, pseudogene circular RNAs exert their effect by interacting miRNA regulate expression level its target genes. Emerging evidence revealed dysregulation network attributed pathogenesis various cancers, including head neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). This most prevalent cancer developed mucosal epithelium lip, oral cavity, larynx pharynx. Although many efforts have been made comprehend cause subsequent treatment HNSCC, morbidity mortality rate remains high.
