The elevated levels of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in livestock manure represent a significant threat to both the environment and human health. Composting has been recognized as an effective strategy mitigate abundance ARGs manure. However, notable rebounds have observed during this process. This study explored changes underlying influencing factors composting carnivore (chicken pig) herbivore (sheep cow) manures, along with mushroom residues. findings revealed that total relative increased by 6.96 10.94 folds chicken pig composts, respectively, whereas it decreased remarkable 91.72% 98.37% sheep cow composts. Nitrogen content emerged primary physicochemical governing Conversely, carbon played pivotal role determining Furthermore, presence dominant hosts, such Corynebacterium, Bacillus, Clostridium, emerging bacteria like Thermobifida, Saccharomonospora, Actinomadura, contributed significantly enrichment ARGs, including tetG, tetO, tetX, sul2, coexistence these mobile genetic elements plethora host bacteria, coupled their high abundance, renders them particularly high-risk ARGs. On other hand, decrease composts can be attributed decline population specifically Atopostipes, Psychrobacter, Corynebacterium. Collectively, results provide crucial insights into management risks offer essential theoretical support for enhancing safe utilization organic fertilizer agriculture.

Hydrochar as a carbon-based fertiliser is hypothesised to permanently improve soils by modifying soil carbon quality through the regulation of organic dynamics, aggregation properties and microbial diversity. However, interactions between (SOC) molecular structure, aggregates communities result hydrochar application have not been fully elucidated. In this study, use derived from duck farm biomass waste for maize cultivation experiment verified that had promoting effect on growth, effectively increasing nutrient supply soil. The increased content 78 253 per cent, which was dominated CHON-type lignin, carbohydrates condensed aromatic structural compounds. Meanwhile, significant both structures oxygenated functional groups, forming more macroaggregates. addition, positive bacterial abundance. This study suggests key mechanism regulates dynamics mainly stabilising macroaggregates while abundance carbon-related microscopic bacteria. These results will help elucidate potential effects aqueous biogeochemical cycling in soils.

Romboutsia is a dominant genus in the goose intestine. Recent studies have suggested that lituseburensis might regulate serum immunoglobulin levels female geese, although underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we administered (R. lituseburensis) orally to leading successful colonization of ileum. Subsequent analysis showed IgM, IgA, and IgG significantly decreased after (P < 0.01). 16S rRNA sequencing revealed R. altered microbial composition increased relative abundance Jeotgalicoccus 0.01), Turicibacter, Bacillus 0.05) Transcriptome further identified 263 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) ileum (146 upregulated, 117 downregulated) 725 DEGs spleen (300 425 downregulated). Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment these were enriched 17 pathways 21 spleen. Notably, "Intestinal immune network for IgA production" was 0.05). Further, Short Time-series Expression Miner (STEM) grouped 2 tissues into 49 clusters, with clusters 27 29 showing highest significance similar expression patterns. Pathway confirmed both clusters. Furthermore, protein-protein interaction (PPI) along correlation between microbiota gene expression, highlighted KEL, SERPING1, CALR, OSTN as key hub genes. Overall, Jeotgalicoccus, Concurrently, it downregulate (CCR9, TNFRSF13B, AICDA) via OSTN, thereby contributing reduction levels. These findings offer new insights how influences function geese provide theoretical basis research its other physiological roles geese.

The composition of particulate matter (PM) in poultry farms differs significantly from that atmospheric PM as there is a higher concentration microbes on farms. To assess the health effects pregnant animals, we collected duck houses using sampler, processed it via centrifugation and vacuum concentration, subsequently exposed mice to airborne at 0.48 mg/m3 (i.e., low group) 1.92 high fifth day pregnancy. After exposure until twentieth pregnancy or spontaneous delivery, were euthanized for sampling. toxicity analyzed histopathological analysis, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). results showed had adverse reduced their feed intake both groups. Microscopic lesions observed lungs placentas mice, worsened with increased concentrations, shown by alveolar wall thickening, infiltration inflammatory cells pulmonary interstitium, congestion, edema, cellular degeneration placenta. In group, expression cytokines placentas, caused oxidative stress, decreased estrogen level blood. Exposure also resulted litter sizes shorter body tail lengths fetuses delivered. Beyond that, downregulated levels antioxidant factor superoxide dismutase neurotrophic Ngf brains fetuses. Collectively, inhalation among significant led abnormal fetal development due damage stress. These findings established foundation future studies underlying mechanisms induced PM.
