The Russian invasion of Ukraine sparked Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II, challenging host nations to rapidly develop support systems for millions displaced by conflict. This study explores the life trajectory concept – encompassing personal growth, historical context, timing, and social relationships analyze efforts Slovak citizens NGOs in supporting refugees. Using a qualitative design, research combined walking interviews with 11 Ukrainian refugees focus group discussions 12 NGO representatives. Descriptive statistics highlighted numbers, aid distribution, programme effectiveness, while thematic analysis identified key contrasts: (1) Fluctuating needs versus prioritization basic necessities, (2) Limited resilience, (3) Cultural integration persistent longing home, (4) Language education demand work-integrated learning, (5) Donor generosity logistical challenges. findings underscore dynamic interplay between refugees' evolving provided, offering actionable insights policymakers, humanitarian organizations, services. By addressing both immediate long-term challenges, stakeholders can enhance effectiveness Slovakia across Europe.

Zusammenfassung Hintergrund Die psychische Gesundheit von Kindern und Jugendlichen wird zunehmend durch globale Krisen beeinträchtigt, doch bisher gibt es nur wenige Längsschnittstudien zu diesem Thema. Ziel dieser bevölkerungsbezogenen Längsschnittstudie war es, die Entwicklung der psychischen in Zeiten globaler erforschen. Methoden Ausgewertet wurden Daten n = 2865 Familien mit im Alter 7 bis 22 Jahren, an mindestens einer Welle COPSY(COrona PSYche)-Studie Mai 2020 (T1) Oktober 2024 (T7) teilgenommen haben. Im Durchschnitt nahmen 56,7 % Befragungswellen teil. Mithilfe deskriptiven Statistiken multivariaten Regressionsanalysen Veränderungen sowie Auswirkungen krisenbedingten Sorgen Nutzung digitaler Medien untersucht. Due to the military conflict and COVID-19 pandemic, Ukraine city of Poltava are facing challenges in medical services, including dentistry. Analyzing dynamics caries treatment children before during war is crucial for assessing impact wartime on municipal dental care system. The aim this study analyze based annual reports from Municipal Pediatric Clinical Dental Polyclinic wartime. A retrospective analysis statistical reporting years 2002, 2012, 2018-2022 was conducted. During analysis, indicators were studied, total number visits, primary treated teeth due its complications temporary permanent teeth. Calculations included average visits per person, proportion complicated teeth, quality indicator treatment. revealed a 51.43% decrease clinic over last 20 years. In 2022, there sharp increase 24,655, possibly internally displaced children. filled increased by 25% 2022 compared 2021. significantly rose 0.23 0.84 2002 2022. Additionally, absolute values 2012 12% up indicating rise cases treating extraction. These findings highlight need further research war's prevalence pediatric population. This developing effective strategies prevention diseases.

Background. The problems of civilian population rehabilitation in Ukraine existed long before February 2022 due to prolonged military actions certain regions the country since 2014. Medical and psychological assistance internally displaced persons individuals affected temporarily occupied territories remains relevant this day. Children may experience stress trauma, requiring a competent specialized approach their well-being. purpose article is assess effectiveness impact medical-psychological program on children as result war Ukraine. – work evaluation medical for Materials Methods. Participants study included group comprising 70 respondents aged 12 17 who were undergoing rehabilitation. underwent analysis clinical symptoms changes laboratory instrumental indicators during inpatient treatment 3 months after discharge. Follow-up data collected through questionnaire surveys telephone interviews. Standardized questionnaires instruments aimed at identifying signs post-traumatic disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety disorders among utilized purpose. Results. Before implementation, PTSD identified 46.7% (low moderate levels), 67.1% (overall) 5.7% (high), depression was present 69% (mostly low levels).
