Urinary incontinence (UI), particularly urge urinary (UUI), is a prevalent condition that worsens with age and negatively affects quality of life. Antioxidants, measured by the composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI), have been linked to inflammation other diseases, but their relationship UUI remains uncertain. The purpose this study investigate between prevalence CDAI.

Dyslipidemia has been proved to play a pivotal role in biological aging. Atherogenic Index of Plasma (AIP), derived from serum triglyceride (TG) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), is an effective biomarker dyslipidemia. However, whether AIP can be used as indicator aging remains unclear. This study aims investigate the relationship between US adult population. 4,471 American adults with age over 20 years National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) database were included this study. Biological was assessed by phenotypic acceleration (PhenoAgeAccel). Multivariable linear regression models, subgroup analyses interaction tests employed explore association PhenoAgeAccel. Background Preserved ratio impaired spirometry (PRISm) represents an abnormal lung function state distinct from traditional chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, characterized by unique clinical and epidemiological features. PRISm has been associated with various health issues, including increased risk of metabolic disorders cardiovascular diseases. Vitamin D, known for its anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antioxidant properties, may play a role in reducing the PRISm. This study aims to investigate relationship between vitamin D levels PRISm, mediating effects systemic inflammation markers indicators population U.S. adults. Methods cross-sectional analyzed data 17,333 participants National Health Nutrition Examination Survey, 1,577 individuals 15,756 without. Baseline characteristics were assessed, multivariate logistic regression models employed examine Mediation analysis was conducted explore potential roles immune-inflammation index (SII), triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, bilirubin. Nonlinear relationships assessed using restricted cubic spline (RCS) models. Results The group had lower median inflammatory profiles compared non-PRISm group. Multivariate confirmed inverse association (adjusted OR: 0.989, 95% CI: 0.984–0.994, p < 0.001). RCS showed nonlinear protective effect stabilizing at above 50 nmol/mL. highlighted bilirubin as positive mediator (ACME = −4.11 × 10 −5 , 0.001), while TyG demonstrated suppressive mediation 2.68 SII did not show significant mediation. In the US, most common type of cancer and second leading cause cancer-related death in men is prostate (PCa). Food lifestyle factors may influence risk developing cancer. Therefore, research on dietary components associated with essential for its prevention. Data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) between 2003 2010 was used this cross-sectional investigation involving 5,658 middle-aged older American men. Dietary antioxidant vitamins A, C, E, total carotenoids, zinc, selenium were subtracted mean, divided by standard deviation, respectively, then summed to become CDAI. Participants categorized as high PCa if they had tPSA greater than 10 ng/mL or levels 4 f/t PSA ratios 25% below; remaining subjects classified being at low PCa. The sample represented approximately 75,984,602 After multivariate logistic regression, dose-effect analysis stratified analysis, CDAI significantly linearly negatively a (OR=0.95, P=0.002, P linear=0.0021).
