Abstract Electric vehicles (EVs) have achieved a great deal of success, indicating that the motor industry will soon be emission-free. They run on electricity stored in batteries, which their drivers can recharge using an external source electricity. Therefore, development infrastructure for charging EVs has become necessity. In this paper, real case study Zagazig, Egypt, evaluating, operating, and determining most sustainable location EV station is presented. Identifying such complex task requires considering many influencing factors sub-factors. Consequently, general evaluation system includes six key factors, addition to nineteen sub-factors, been developed. A multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach applied with problem. The neutrosophic theory type-2 numbers (T2NNs) number weighted averaging (T2NNWA) operator are used combine expert specialized views since they ambiguous uncertain. Firstly, Decision-making Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method prioritize Then, Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) technique selects sites stations. Clean energy technologies are playing a vital role in transition, realization of Net-Zero emission goals, and satisfying increasing demands. The objective this work is to investigate the potentials renewable sources propose state-of-the-art new grid connected system model, which increases penetration energies medium-size Municipality Perugia, Central Italy. presented model integrates optimises mainly consisting hydro, solar, biomass, by implementing dispatch strategies advanced mathematical model. developed maximises power generation each source based on least Net Present Cost lowest Levelized Energy balances fluctuating load demand using combined strategies. An economic environmental analysis has been performed evaluate impact proposed system. results show that significant amount clean (33.2 GWh/year) produced at 0.067 €/kWh. Moreover, up 78% selected community covered energies, evades 13,452 tons CO2 yearly.
