Existing measurement technologies and methods have limited previous aeroelastic wind tunnel tests on long-span flexible photovoltaic (PV) to localized points, lacking refined, multi-region, multi-point analysis. To further investigate the most adverse wind-induced vibration evolution mechanisms in PV across multiple regions, this study utilizes a three-dimensional digital image correlation method with visual displacement analyzer obtain more precise efficient structural responses. By examining aerodynamic characteristics at smaller scales, reveals for PV. And by synchronizing mode of frequencies responses various identifies mechanisms. Finally, targeted recommendations suppression are proposed. The findings show that, compared 0° direction, is prone larger high-frequency vibrations 180° response observed edge span. At primarily linear or critical state between nonlinear responses, while modes include response, state, response. “high horizontal participation—high-frequency vibration” mechanism indicates that transition from arises significant increase participation, along both vertical directions.
