This study employs Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares, Common Correlated Effects and Dumitrescu-Hurlin panel causality techniques to investigate the environmental impacts of nuclear energy generation in European Union countries from 1990 2022. The ongoing debate within empirical contradictions literature, coupled with overall singular-dimensionality surrounding on environment, necessitate a broader comprehensive examination its effects across various dimensions. These dimensions include presence CO2 emissions ecological footprint generated. findings reveal that adoption by tends affect but this relationship goes consumption as per test, while variable does not exhibit causal consumption. We estimated higher air pollutants promotes an alternative fossil fuel sources. highlights produces no pollution, it impose significant land use requirements, potentially leading ecosystem degradation. Factors such uranium extraction, waste management, disposal, accidents contribute impact. Further research is needed understand specific mechanisms factors contributing observed degradation associated generation.

The intersection of geopolitics and energy security is a critical area study that has garnered increasing interest from scholars around the globe. This paper employs bibliometric theory methodologies to explore research trajectory concerning influence geopolitical dynamics on security. Our findings, derived both quantitative qualitative analysis relevant literature, reveal several key insights. Firstly, there notable upward trend in publications this topic, reflecting widespread recognition intricate link between growing body aligns with exponential growth law observed scientific showcasing novel pattern geographical distribution centered issues. Secondly, an examination collaboration networks at national, institutional, individual levels identifies China as leading country terms partnerships, positioning Chinese institutions forefront field. Lastly, our delineates evolution within domain through three distinct phases—pre-, mid-, post-development stages. It highlights shifting focus global researchers towards transition process, policy formulation, stability markets, environmental impacts production consumption. not only maps current landscape but also signals areas shape vital field inquiry.

ABSTRACT Natural resources and geopolitical risks significantly impact energy security risks. The availability accessibility of natural play a significant role in determining nation's vulnerability. Renewable consumption, particularly foreign direct investment renewable projects, can help mitigate these by diversifying supplies reducing the reliance on fossil fuels. This study examines risk 38 countries at conflict between 1990 2021 using CO 2 emissions, as controlling variables. long‐run analysis is based slope heterogeneity, Westerlund cointegration, Arellano–Bond dynamic panel‐data estimation, Robust, correlated panels corrected standard errors (PCSEs). results indicate that index positively associated with resources, risk, consumption. Foreign negatively selected countries. Improving requires addressing multiple policy implications. resource availability, mitigation, emissions reduction, increased consumption are key factors. However, negative association FDI emphasizes importance careful evaluation investments to ensure their compatibility objectives. By implementing appropriate policies, enhance security, promote sustainable development, posed uncertainties.
