Abstract This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the intersection between digital sustainability (DS) and eco‐environmental (EES), focusing on opportunities challenges presented by emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, electric vehicles (EVs), cryptocurrencies. The study critically examines concerns arising from increasing demand for infrastructure depletion essential natural resources, including tantalum, indium, cobalt, lithium. Through an interdisciplinary approach, evaluates ethical, technological, policy implications integrating DS within EES framework. It emphasizes significance innovative governance cross‐sector collaboration to address environmental trade‐offs rebound effects linked with these technologies. Additionally, proposes strategies mitigating ecological impacts transformation identifies crucial research gaps, particularly in resource management long‐term sustainability. findings aim guide alignment EES, fostering more balanced resilient path towards sustainable development. offers actionable insights recommendations industry practitioners, policymakers, researchers committed advancing transformation.

ABSTRACT The significance of environmental deterioration as a pressing issue has led to its prominence in global discussions on strategies for prevention. It can be asserted that there exists universal agreement the enhancement quality is imperative promotion sustainable development and societal well‐being, especially emerging economies. In this perspective, present research uses panel data E7 economies from 1992 2021 assess effects income disparity, urbanization, resources consumption (nonrenewable renewable energy consumption), women employers ecological footprint. This study employs second‐generation empirical techniques such CIPS CADF unit root tests, Westerlund bootstrap cointegration, DFE/MG/PMG‐ARDL models check relationships between studied variables. findings reveal countries, footprint increased with an disparity nonrenewable consumption. On other hand, consumption, female help reduce Additionally, results causality measure under Dumitrescu Hurlin test unveil bidirectional all independent variables except From policy selected countries must implement policies promote equitable distribution, planned urbanization compact cities, efficient transportation systems, green infrastructure, provide opportunities attain higher positions organizations, particularly at managerial decision‐making levels order address adverse consequences

Amidst escalating global concerns over climate change and the pressing need for sustainable development, this study conducts a comparative analysis across 24 nations that have successfully achieved carbon peaking, evaluating their socioeconomic characteristics reduction strategies. Simultaneously, it examines China’s policy evolution strategic responses within context of its economic urban development. The reveals countries with successful peak outcomes typically exhibit high GDP per capita advanced urbanization rates. Critical to success are comprehensive adjustments in energy consumption structures industrial transformation, which supported by robust environmental policies technological innovation. categorizes into three primary categories seven sub-categories, reflecting dynamic approaches driven agendas varying stages national Strategies including legal frameworks, pricing mechanisms, international cooperation, innovation critically assessed potential refine policies. Significant challenges implementation identified, particularly aligning ambitious strategies objectives managing transition costs critical sectors such as transportation. emphasizes necessity phased approach, begins enhancing public corporate awareness, advances through promotion low-carbon technologies, concludes establishment stringent regulatory frameworks.
