Background: Compared with traditional power generation systems, wind turbines have more units and work in a harsh environment, thus relatively high failure rate. Among blade faults, the faults of high-strength bolts are often difficult to detect need be analyzed high-precision sensors other equipment. However, there is still little research on faults. Methods: The improved complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition (ICEEMD) model used extract fault features from time series data, then combined support vector machine optimized by sparrow search algorithm (SSA-SVM) diagnose bolt different degrees, so as achieve purpose early warning. Results: results show that ICEEMD this paper can signals well, SSA-SVM has shorter optimization accurate classification compared models such PSO-SVM. Conclusion: hybrid proposed important for diagnosis operation monitoring class.

The failure mitigation and economic analysis related to the damage of boiler tube in power plant system were evaluated present study. research was conducted at Indonesia's Suralaya (PP). built 2011 experienced a after operating for less than 5 years. The advanced software used in designing Wind Turbine Gearboxes (WTGs) does not solve the premature failure of gearbox bearings, which still fail within 5%-20% their design life by flaking. This issue increases maintenance, downtime, and early replacement costs that limit investment wind energy field. majority previous research have focused on bearing subsurface investigation microstructural changes associated with patterns. Fatigue resistance of steel containing non-metallic inclusions (NMIs) varies widely, depending on many criteria; therefore, finding the most compromised types NMIs is a sober objective that may significantly reduce severe damage and premature failure in applications, such as bearings, gears, transmission shafts, etc.The multiple criteria decision-making methodologies have been used this study to assess more effective NMI using analytical hierarchy process by expert choice software.The five common selected are oxides, sulfides, carbides, silicates, nitrides, based different criteria: size, shape, distribution, mechanical properties, quantity.The results showed oxide optimum type relative other four options regarding fatigue about 35%, probably due their spherical shape small size.The dominant criterion which an percentage 34.6% among criteria.It means reduction rather than enhances steel.

The inter-shaft bearing is a critical component in dual rotors aero-engine. Due to the complex and severe loads caused by interactive excitation of HP LP during operation, prone damage accumulation failure. Focusing on typical failure inner ring fragmentation cannot be spliced together completely high thrust-weight ratio turbofan engine, this paper conducted morphological investigation, fractographic analysis, vibration signal processing, finite element numerical simulation, fully studied mechanism failure.The results indicated that: there exists an uncoordinated resonance speed rotor close proximity operating speed. This puts non-synchronous procession state, accompanied angular displacement outer rings, which resulting lager rolling dynamic load ring. further leads tangential impact at root fillet anti-rotation pin, causing significant stress concentration, eventually generation initial cracks. These cracks persist propagate into fatigue oblique fracture over time. After fracture, modal frequencies become more dispersed. Under (traveling wave load), nodal diameter occurs, damage, ultimately leading multiple-point simultaneous fragmentation.The investigation suggests that reducing levels pin effective approach prevent can achieved through two methods: one optimizing structure decrease ring, other eliminating appropriately tightening torque compression nut interference between turbine rear journal.
