Angle measurement is widely used in the servo positioning and speed control of electrical drives, where optical encoders are employed as sensors coupled to microcontrollers with complex peripherals provide effective position methods. Here, synchronously sampled, differenced, low-pass filtered. As result, circuit its interface unit greatly simplified, while accuracy be achieved. A detailed mathematical analysis proposed technique also performed, results obtained validated by means simulation environment using Matlab&Simulink.
