Current societal challenges like climate change led to a general agreement that our cities need become greener and lifestyles more sustainable. This transformation of daily living environments can also impact the prevalence non-communicable diseases as global disease burden time. Abstract Green ecological communities have garnered significant interest due to their role in providing urban ecosystem services, and community greening plays a pivotal environmental enhancement. In the context of carbon neutrality-oriented goals, it is imperative acknowledge significance various landscape designs sequestration within initiatives. However, there currently lack consideration for that promote high projects. Our research with literature experimental measurement data as sources, established database 138 common vegetation species Shanghai. Based on vertical structure design, we propose seven modular planting structures reflect potential high-capacity plants different green spaces. findings reveal substantial variations among tree arbor shrub categories, whereas differences herbaceous per unit area are comparatively smaller.
