Porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) and transmissible gastroenteritis coronavirus (TGEV), the two causative agents of porcine diarrhea, have been reported to be at risk cross-species transmission, including humans. However, potential host range in which these CoVs interact remains unclear. We screened 16 animal counterparts for aminopeptidase N (APN), receptor PDCoV TGEV, found that APNs from eight 17 animals could bind receptor-binding domains (RBDs) TGEV. Furthermore, RBDs mediate cellular infection by both viruses. Dog APN (dAPN) has identified as with highest capability virus infection. further resolved complex structures dAPN bound RBD/TGEV RBD, respectively, establishing its divergent modes. Canine parvovirus (CPV) and canine enteric coronavirus (CCoV) are primary viral pathogens responsible for causing diarrhea in carnivores. CCoV infection generally induces mild enteritis, whereas infections solely by CPV or coinfections involving both frequently result severe can lead to fatal outcomes affected animals. This study investigated raccoon dogs farmed China between 2018 2023. Among the 133 small intestine tissue samples from with diarrhea, 107 of (80.5%) were nucleic acid positive, CPV‐2 CPV‐2a subtypes. The amplicons maintained I418T, S927A, T27S. Canine coronavirus (CCoV) is an important gastrointestinal pathogen that causes serious harm to pet dogs worldwide. Here, 1791 clinical samples were collected from in different hospitals Guangxi Province, southern China, for the 2021–2024 period and detected CCoV by a multiplex RT-qPCR. The results showed 8.43% (151/1791) of positive CCoV. Sixty-five selected amplify, sequence, analyze S, M, N genes. A sequence comparison revealed nucleotide amino acid similarities genes 94.86% 94.62%, 96.85% 97.80%, respectively. These prevalent high level genetic diversity maintained continuous variation among epidemic strains.
