In the last few years, world has experienced impacts of climate change, such as elevated mean annual temperature, extreme weather events, drought, etc. Among living organisms, perennial plant species are ones mostly exposed to change impacts, they may experience different events within same year, flooding during some periods and drought in summer months, extremely low temperatures winter but excessively high summer, Climate affects a range physiological functions temperate fruit nut tree species, their phenophases, bud dormancy release vernalization, pollination set, growth quality, well sprouting initiation. Besides these, impact on pests, diseases, weeds generate significant negative interactions with physiology, threatening food production, safety, human welfare. present manuscript, general aspect fruits’ trees’ is described commented on.

Drought stress significantly impacts wheat productivity, but plant growth regulators may help mitigate these effects. This study examined the influence of gibberellic acid (GA3) and abscisic (ABA) on (Triticum aestivum L., CV: Giza 171) yield under different water regimes. Using a split-plot design, we tested three drought levels as main plots: normal irrigation (80% field capacity), moderate (60% severe (40% capacity). Subplots consisted GA3 ABA treatments at 100 200 ppm concentrations. Results showed that treatment enhanced multiple parameters irrigation, including height (25–30% increase), leaf area (30–35% reproductive traits increase in number spikes, 35% grains per spike). In contrast, resulted reduced (35% decrease) greater reduction vs. 20% control) conditions. also improved physiological catalase superoxide dismutase activities, protein content, proline accumulation. These findings demonstrate distinct roles regulating responses, providing valuable insights for management cultivation.

Soil salinity is one of the main barriers to increasing global food production as it reduces crop growth and productivity. While irrigated lands in arid climates (about 20% total affected) are more prone salinization, many other natural anthropogenic factors contribute an increase arable that currently affects over 100 countries than billion ha. Management agro-ecosystems at every level, including soil, water, plant itself, important mitigating effects salinity. Plant hormones control cellular metabolism, mediate defense response mechanisms against abiotic biotic stresses. Foliar fertigation with regulators has been shown improve metabolism under stress conditions. Strigolactones (SLs) have emerged a group novel phytohormones several functions interactions microorganisms, development, responding environmental cues. The present research addressed SL (GR24) on growth, photosynthetic parameters, oxidative Solanum lycopersicum stress. Growth indices, photosynthesis related attributes, antioxidant enzyme activity, malondialdehyde (a product lipid peroxidation) hydrogen peroxide concentrations were compared unstressed salt-stressed (NaCl; 150 mM) S. seedlings untreated or treated GR24 (2 µM). Plants, being sessile, have developed complex signaling and response mechanisms to cope with biotic abiotic stressors. Recent investigations revealed the significant contribution of phytohormones in enabling plants endure unfavorable conditions. Among these phytohormones, jasmonic acid (JA) its derivatives, collectively referred as jasmonates (JAs), are particular importance involved diverse signal transduction pathways regulate various physiological molecular processes plants, thus protecting from lethal impacts Jasmonic has emerged a central player plant defense against stress alleviating multiple stressors such drought, salinity, vernalization, heavy metal exposure. Furthermore, growth regulator, JA operates conjunction other through cascade balance development stresses. Although studies reported intricate nature biomolecular entity for mitigation stressors, their underlying mechanism biosynthetic remain poorly understood. Therefore, this review offers an overview recent progress made understanding biosynthesis JA, elucidates complexities pathways, emphasizes pivotal role mitigating Moreover, we also discuss current issues future research directions JAs responses.
