Soil salinity stress is a detrimental factor in crops production. Conventional methods of soil management and reclamation have been proved useless. On the contrary, exploiting inherent genes mechanisms halotolerant bacteria can bring revolution agriculture. Present study was designed to characterize ATPase dependent protein complexes kdpFABC kdpDE salt tolerant bacterium Alcaligenes xylosoxydans. This complex enables plants endure saline environmental conditions through enhancing K+ ions influx. For characterization, sequences three isoforms kdpA, four kdpB, two kdpC one kdpE were retrieved from Uniprot database. These analyzed via ProtParam tool, AlphaFold database HDOCK server. Highest affinity for ATP molecule observed kdpB confirming its reported function hydrolysis. All documented proteins found polar (except kdpE), alkaline isoform each kdpA kdpB), thermostable, exhibit 3D structure E) vitro stability. properties subunit be exploited engineer produce osmotolerant transgenic

Algae are existing macroscopic materials with substantial benefits, including as important growth regulators and macronutrients micronutrients for the of healthy crop plants. Biofertilizers obtained from algae identified novel production fertilizers or innovative biofertilizers without detrimental impacts chemicals. Seaweeds contain many water-soluble minerals nutrients that plants can easily absorb valuable plants’ growth. At present, Ascophyllum nodosum (L.) Le Jolis extract outperforms chemical in terms increasing seed germination, plant development, yield, well protecting severe biotic abiotic stresses. A. contains bioactive compounds exhibit an array biological activities such antibiotic, anti-microbial, antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-obesity, anti-diabetic activities. (AnE) alginic acid poly-uronides improve soil’s water-carrying ability, morsel structure, aeration, capillary action, stimulating root systems plants, microbial activity soil, improving mineral absorption availability. The scientific literature has comprehensively reviewed these factors, providing information about different functions growth, quality, alleviation stresses their effects on interactions microbes. application AnE significantly improved germination rate, increased lateral roots, enhanced water nutrient use efficiencies, antioxidant activity, phenolic flavonoid contents, chlorophyll alleviated even postharvest quality fruits.

Melatonin is a hormone-like substance that serves as secondary metabolite associated with variety of physiological, hormonal, and natural processes at the cell, tissue, organ levels. It acts plant biostimulant increase tolerance against abiotic stresses like ssalinity, drought, heat, cold heavy metals. in plants, also called phytomelatonin, participating cellular mechanisms ameliorates oxidative toxicity, hence helps to stand stress conditions. These exclusive properties strengthen defense capacity by stimulating detoxification reactive oxygen species (ROS), promoting physiological attributes, activation stress-responsive genes ameliorate toxicity caused stress. As key molecule, it exhibits several important molecular interactions nitric oxide (NO), calcium (Ca2+), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sulfide (H2S). In this review article, we discuss salient role melatonin morphological adaptation well its involvement mitigation. Besides, under stress, interaction NO, Ca2+, H2O2, H2S has been demonstrated. This study will provide reference for elucidating regulatory mechanism influencing resistance plants.

Research on nanoparticles (NPs) is gaining great attention in modulating abiotic stress tolerance and improving crop productivity. Therefore, this investigation was carried out to evaluate the effects of copper oxide (CuO-NPs) growth biochemical characteristics two maize hybrids (YH-5427 FH-1046) grown under normal conditions or subjected saline stress. A pot-culture experiment Botanical Area “the University Lahore”, Lahore, Pakistan, a completely randomized design. At phenological stages, both were irrigated with same amount distilled water NaCl solution (EC = 5 dS m−1) not foliar treatment suspension CuO-NPs. The salt significantly reduced photosynthetic parameters (photosynthetic rate, transpiration, stomatal conductance), while sodium content shoot root increased. spray CuO-NPs improved attributes, along N, P, K, Ca, Mg roots shoots. However, hybrid YH-5427 responded better than other when sprayed Overall, findings current demonstrated that can help reduce adverse salinity plants by physio-biochemical attributes.

Strigolactones (SLs) are an emerging class of plant hormones that play important roles in growth, development, and response to environmental stresses. This review summarizes recent findings on the SLs mitigating heat, drought, salinity stresses plants. Under high temperatures, help maintain photosynthesis, antioxidant activity, expression heat shock proteins confer thermotolerance. During regulate stomatal closure promote root growth mycorrhizal associations enhance water uptake retention. also modulate ion homeostasis systems under stress. On physiological level, exogenous SL can increase chlorophyll content, photosynthetic efficiency, proline accumulation, activity enzymes like SOD, POD, CAT across species. molecular genes involved cell cycle, proteins, hormone signaling (auxin, ABA, ethylene), biosynthesis components MAX1-4, D14, D53. Overall, as promising regulators potentially be applied exogenously improve abiotic stress tolerance crops through coordinated molecular, biochemical, responses. More studies needed fully elucidate cascades different species environments.
